Honourable Babatunde Akoro, Chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club, rallies supporters to rally behind the team as they gear up to face Akwa United in Matchday 24 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) in Ibadan.
The Oluyole Warriors will lock horns with the Promise Keepers at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Adamasingba, Ibadan, on Sunday, seeking to maintain their unbeaten streak under the guidance of Coach Gbenga Ogunbote.
Akoro stresses the importance of unity and encouragement from fans, urging them to take ownership of the team through their unwavering support.
However, Akoro also emphasizes the need for fans to conduct themselves responsibly and refrain from engaging in violence or unruly behavior at the stadium, warning against the use of foul language, throwing missiles, or any form of aggression towards officials or players, as such actions are contrary to the rules of the NPFL.
As Shooting Stars aim for victory on the pitch, Akoro underscores the importance of a harmonious relationship between the club and its supporters, urging everyone to play their part in fostering a positive and conducive atmosphere for football.
