Rivers United Technical Adviser, Finidi George, has reassured fans that the team will soon return to winning ways after a challenging spell in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The Pride of Rivers are currently on a three-match winless run, with their latest setback being a 0-1 home loss to Bayelsa United in Port Harcourt last Sunday.

Despite the recent disappointing results, Finidi remains optimistic and confident that the team will bounce back. He pointed out that areas for improvement have been identified and will be addressed ahead of their next match.

“We will get back, we will see where to make those adjustments and get the players back,” Finidi stated in an interview with the club’s media.

“Sometimes things like this happen. We have to get back on track because we are facing Remo Stars next in the league.”

Rivers United will face Remo Stars in their next match, scheduled for Ikenne, as they aim to turn their fortunes around and climb up the NPFL standings.
