NWFL approves new home venues for Abia Angels, Nasarawa Amazons

The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) has approved new home venues for (NWFL) Premiership sides, Abia Angels and Nasarawa Amazons, till the end of the 2022/2023 season.
In an official statement on the NWFL Verified Twitter handle, the approved home venues for the two teams were confirmed, with Abia Angels now set to play their remaining home games at Umuahia Township Stadium, Umuahia.
The earlier Aba based team had played its home games at Enyimba International Stadium, Aba, and will now return to its traditional home ground.
Ann Chiejine’s side will play its next home games against Ibom Angels, Confluence Queens, and Edo Queens at the Umuahia Township Stadium.
In the same vein, Nasarawa Amazons will play its remaining home fixtures at the Snake Farm Pitch, Keffi.
Before the change of home ground, Christopher Danujuma’s side had been prosecuting its home games at the Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi.
Its next home games with FC Robo Queens and Adamawa Queens will now hold at the Snake Farm Pitch, Keffi.
The Nigerian topflighto resumes on March 22 after the Gubernatorial and Sates House of Assembly elections.
