Ola Aina bags assist as Torino defeat Udinese

By Monsurah Olatunji

Nigeria international Ola Aina assisted the only goal as Torino beat Udinese 1-0 in Sunday’s Serie A encounter.
The Super Eagles left-back returned to action following an injury lay off to earn his first start for Torino.
The 26-year-old delivered a man-of-the-match performance as his Torino hosted Udinese in the Stadio Olimpico Grande in their bid to advance from their current mid-table position in the Serie A table.
However, his most important contribution to the game was the pinpoint cross he delivered into the box around the 49th-minute mark that was brilliantly finished by Ivorian forward Yann Karamoh who registered his first goal.
Torino are now 9th and a place above Udinese in the Serie A standings.
On the other hand, Udinese had three Super Eagles-eligible players in their starting lineup, including Isaac Success,  Dutch-Nigerian Kingsley Ehizibue and the Italian-Nigerian Tottenham loanee Destiny Udogie.
