By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde

Nigeria forward Paul Onuachu scored a goal with an assist as Trabzonspor fell to a 3-2 loss to Hatayspor in a Turkish Super Lig encounter on Monday.

His compatriot Fisayo Dele-Bashiru scored the winning goal for Hatayspor.

Edin Visca scored the opening goal of the game for Trabzonspor in the 44th minute with a shot from inside the box after latching onto a headed pass from Onuachu.

In the 62nd minute, Onuachu doubled the lead after connecting with a pass inside the box and slammed home into the top right corner.

Rigoberto Rivas started the comeback for the host in the 72nd minute when he picked the ball from a rebound and the edge of the box unleashed a shot into the middle of the net.

Didier Lamkel Ze equalised in the 89th minute as he deflected Dele-Bashiru’s shot and the ball went past the goalkeeper and into the back of the net.

In the additional minutes of the second half, Dele-Bashiru won the game as he got a shot away from the edge of the box into the bottom right corner.

Dele-Bashiru played the full 90 minutes for Hatayspor and received a yellow card after scoring the winning goal which took his tally to four in six league games.

Onuachu only saw 68 minutes of action before he was replaced by Turkish midfielder, Berat Ozdemir.

He has scored two goals in two Turkish games since joining Trabzonspor from English side, Southampton.

Hatayspor occupy the fourth position with 10 points after six games while Trabzonspor with nine points sits in the sixth position.
