NYG 2023: Team Cross River complete women’s football semi-final line-up

Team Cross Rivers beat Bayelsa State 3-0 complete the semi-final berth of the women’s football event at the 2023 National Youth Games in Delta State on Monday.

On Sunday, Ogun State thrashed Adamawa State 5-0 to book a place in the last four.

The Ogun State side will face Lagos State in a South West derby for a spot in the final.

Lagos State, on their part, also secured a 5-0 win over host, Delta State in the quarter-final.

Cross River State, therefore face Abia State in the semi-final.

The final is slated for Jay Jay Okocha stadium, Ogwashi-Uku on September 29.
