Preseason: Moses Simon shrugs off fresh injury worries for Nantes test

Nigeria attacker Moses Simon has played down latest injury concerns as he confirmed his readiness for upcoming preseason games. 

The Super Eagles’ winger who was diagnosed of a ankle injury after Nantes’ friendly against Laval was expected to stay a big long on the sideline. 

The former Gent forward, however has stated his readiness for the club’s test games against Lorient and Crystal Palace despite fresh injury fears, stressing that the injury is not serious.

“Yes, I felt some pains around my ankle, but I am good to go, I will resume training and play our next pre-season game against Lorient on Wednesday, it’s nothing serious,” he told SCORENigeria.

Simon missed action for three months last season after sustaining an injury on international duty in March.
