President Federation Cup: Nasarawa Amazons put six past Kwara Ladies to zoom into Round of 16

Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership side, Nasarawa Amazons qualified for the Round of 16 as far as the 2025 President Federation Cup is concerned.

The Solid Babes thrashed second-tier outfit, Kwara Ladies, 6-0 in the Round of 32 on Sunday.

Janet Akekeromowei was the star player of the match with three goals.

She scored in the 13th, 26th, and 54th minute respectively, for the Lafia-based side.

Amina Bello, Oduwale, and Josephine Matthias completed the scoring for the former league winners.

They joined a host of other teams like Edo Queens, Bayelsa Queens, Sunshine Queens, Osun Babes, Heartland Queens, Dannaz Ladies, Ibom Angels, First Mahi Babes, Confluence Queens, and Rivers Angels in the Round of 16.

Christopher Danjuma’s side will now shift their focus on the league encounter with Confluence Queens at Lafia City Stadium on Wednesday.

The team occupies the third position in Group A behind Edo Queens and Remo Stars Ladies.
