Stella Okereke glad to lead Honey Badgers maiden NWFL Premiership promotion

Honey Badgers’ goalkeeper, Stella Okereke, is overjoyed by her team’s successful promotion to the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership from the Championship.

The Makurdi-based side secured their place in the top flight with a decisive lone goal victory over the host team in Calabar.

Despite the challenges faced during the campaign, Okereke expressed her exhilaration at the team’s achievement.

“I’m very happy; it’s hard to find the words to express my joy,” Okereke shared exclusively with nigeriafootball.ng.
