Super Eagles stars celebrate historic Serie A title triumph with Victor Osimhen

Victor Osimhen’s team mates in the Nigeria national team fold have joined the striker to celebrate his Italia Serie A title with Napoli.

Osimhen’s second half goal to equalize for the Gil Azurri earned them a 1-1 draw at Udinese on Thursday, a result that’s enough for them to clinch their first Scudetto in over three decades.

The Super Eagles’ forward took to his social media (Instagram) page to expressed his happiness by delivering the coveted title for the Napoli fans.

“Dear Napolitans, The Scudetto Has Been Delivered!!! Now We Feast!”, Osimhen posted along with his picture and trophy.

Members of the Super Eagles, including Odion Ighalo, Ahmed Musa, Obafemi Martins, Kelechi Iheanacho among others joined Osimhen in the worldwide celebration with their congratulatory comments on the post.

Ighalo in his comment said the striker deserved the victory by replying with, “Congrats my goal machine. Well deserved”.

There were more congratulations comments from the likes of Super Eagles’ captain, Ahmed Musa, Obafemi Martins, and Moses Simon..

Leicester City winger, Kelechi Iheanacho replied with a one-word reaction, “Ajegunle”, which reminds the Super Eagles striker of his root.

He will aiming to end the season with more goals which will place him above many other football greats in the Serie A.

Osimhen had earlier made history by becoming the second Nigerian to win the Scudetto after Obafemi Martins with Inter Milan.

He has also become African top scorer in the Italian top flight as his 22 goal tally canceled out the previous 21 goal mark set by Samuel Eto’o.
