U23 Afcon Qualifiers: Olympic Eagles arrive Nigeria after securing draw in Tanzania

The Nigeria U23 team arrived Lagos, Nigeria on Sunday morning from Dar es Salam, where the first leg of the second round against Tanzania took place on Saturday.
Nigeria arrived in Tanzania on Thursday and had the feel of the pitch the following day to take on the Tanzanite, who beat South Sudan in the first round to set up a second round date with the West Africans.
Team captain, Success Makanjuola put the 2015 U23 AFCON champions in front when he calmly converted a penalty following a foul on Akani Qudus in the penalty box in 29th minute.
Tanzania, however, got the important equaliser in the 81st minute from the penalty spot.
The 2015 U23 African Nations Cup champions will host Tanzania in the reverse fixture of the second round doubleheader at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan on 29th October, 2022.
Winners between Nigeria and Tanzania and will face winners between Uganda and Guinea.
