Wasiu Jimoh: Kwara United striker set to join Zambian giants Zesco United

Zambia Premier League giants, Zesco United are on closing on signing Kwara United striker Wasiu Jimoh for an undisclosed fee.

Jimoh has been reportedly arrived Lusaka, capital of Zambia to undergo medicals before putting pen to paper with the Bola Yapa Zed side.

The former Flying Eagles’ forward also had bid from Tanzanian’s Simba SC but their offer was way below asking price.

Jimoh looked to have opted for Zesco United who offered him a juicy two and half years contract plus add ons.

He scored three goals in four games in the CAF Confederations Cup for the Harmony Warriors before they were eliminated by defending champions, RS Berkane.

Jimoh has played for notable clubs in the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL including Shooting Stars, Rivers United and Plateau United.
