Yetunde Adeboyejo helps Ramat Hasharon to win Israel Women’s State Cup

Nigeria forward, Yetunde Adeboyejo and her Israeli women’s league side, Ramat Hasharon have emerged as State Cup Champions.

Ramat Hasharon edged Tell Aviv 2-1 to complete a fairytale run in the 2023 Israel Women’s State Cup.

Emmaculate Msipa opened the scoring for Ramat before Lexie Lipsey equalised for Tel Aviv.

The game went to extra time when Meytal Sharabi scored the match-winner in the 96th minute.

Yetunde couldn’t score in the final but has played a crucial part in the team’s journey to the final.

She scored the match-winner as Ramat Hasharon stunned league holders, Kiryat Gat 2-1 in the quarter-final of the Women’s State Cup.

The Nigerian star played an important role in lifting her side to the final, providing the opening goal in her team en route to a 2-1 win over Hadera.

At the end of the league season, she scored four goals for her side and wrap up the season with a rewarding State Cup.
