Gift Orban regrets losing Emirates Cup final to Arsenal

Nigeria international, Gift Orban wasn’t pleased with the Emirates Cup final loss to Arsenal.
William Saliba and Gabriel first half goals won the preseason tourney for the Gunners against Lyon.
Despite firing blank in the game, Orban said the encounter against Arsenal was an hectic one as Lyon have marched on from the disappointing game.
The 22-year-old striker stated Lyon isn’t perturbed over the loss as their priority is to ensure the club have a great season ahead in the French Ligue 1.
“We’re disappointed with the loss to Arsenal, but it was a challenging match against a formidable opponent,” Orban was quoted by Flashscore.
“Even though we gave it our all, we came up short. That’s how football goes, but we’ve moved on from the loss.
“We’ll keep putting in the hard work as the main target is to ensure we have a great season.”
Orban joined Lyon from Gent in the January transfer window, he only managed to score three goals in 16 games.
