Jupiler League: Tolu Arokodare drops Gent’s ambition after Antwerp win

Nigerian striker, Tolu Arokodare has declared that his Belgian club side, Gent are aiming to win the Jupiler League this season.
The Smurfs shot to the summit of the league on Sunday after a commanding 2-0 victory against champions, Royal Antwerp.
They have garnered 31 points from opening 14 matches in the Belgian top-flight.
Arokodare who is still waiting for his international debut with the Super Eagles is optimistic Gent have all it takes to clinch the title if they maintain the same momentum.
“If we can continue to win matches like this, then of course we want to become champions, but that is still far too early to say,” he told the club’s official website.
“We just have to remain disciplined now. We were all fantastic (vs Antwerp). From the goalkeeper to the players on the bench and the coaches.”
