NWFL: Edo Queens need strong will, determination to sustain unbeaten runs – Odeh

General Manager of Edo Queens, Rollanson Odeh has asked his players to find that extra determination and strong will as they go toe to toe against Remo Stars Ladies on Wednesday.

The reigning Nigeria Women’s Football League, NWFL champions will be guests to the Sky Blues Star Girls in the Matchday 10 encounter in Ikenne.

The top-of-the-table clash will see Edo Queens aiming to maintain their unbeaten streak in the league.

Odeh admitted that the encounter would be a tough one and expressed confidence in his players to replicate their winning mentality in previous games.

“You are aware that since the beginning of the season we have not lost any game, our vision and mission here in Ikenne is to maintain our unbeaten run record,” Odeh stated ahead of the game.

“Our girls have done it before, they can do it again. All we need now is total commitment, determination and strong will.

“We obviously understand that we are up against a strong side; they are our rivals in group A, and it is going to be a game of the titans.

“We have high-class players that are battle-ready and who have admirably enjoyed a good run of form in their games. So, at this critical level of the league, Edo Queens cannot afford to drop a point. We started well, and we will finish well.”
