The One Humanity Beach Soccer Tournament, a four-nation international competition, will be officially launched in Accra on Friday, February 6, ahead of its maiden edition scheduled for May 2026.
The launch ceremony will take place at the Media Centre of the Accra Sports Stadium, with proceedings set to begin at 10:00am. Officials, stakeholders, and members of the media are expected to be in attendance as details of the landmark tournament are unveiled.
Ghana has been confirmed as host of the competition, with matches to be played at the scenic Laboma Beach. The tournament will feature Ghana, Nigeria, Germany, and one yet-to-be-confirmed nation from Asia, adding a strong intercontinental flavour to the event.
Designed around the core values of unity, sportsmanship, and global collaboration, the One Humanity Beach Soccer Tournament aims to bring together the international beach soccer community through a shared vision that transcends borders and cultures.
Organisers say the competition will not only promote high-level beach soccer but also serve as a platform for cultural exchange and the celebration of humanity through sport.

Prior to his role at Goal.com, Samuel freelanced for various print and broadcast media outlets in Nigeria, including Graphics Newspaper, Radio Nigeria, Grace FM, and Savid Newspaper. His extensive experience and expertise led to his appointment to the Nigeria Football Federation's Standing Committee on Women's Football Development from 2016 to 2018. Since February 2018, Samuel has been the Social Media Manager for Nigeria's women's national teams.In 2019, Samuel joined the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as a women's football content contributor and was promoted to Women's Football Editor in 2021. His contributions to women's football continued as he worked as a Media Consultant for Content Creation and Editorials at the 2022 CAF Women's Champions League. Currently, Samuel also serves as the spokesman for the Nigeria Women Football League, further solidifying his influence and dedication to the growth of women's football in Africa.
