One Humanity Beach Soccer Tournament Set for Official Launch in Accra

The One Humanity Beach Soccer Tournament, a four-nation international competition, will be officially launched in Accra on Friday, February 6, ahead of its maiden edition scheduled for May 2026.

The launch ceremony will take place at the Media Centre of the Accra Sports Stadium, with proceedings set to begin at 10:00am. Officials, stakeholders, and members of the media are expected to be in attendance as details of the landmark tournament are unveiled.

Ghana has been confirmed as host of the competition, with matches to be played at the scenic Laboma Beach. The tournament will feature Ghana, Nigeria, Germany, and one yet-to-be-confirmed nation from Asia, adding a strong intercontinental flavour to the event.

Designed around the core values of unity, sportsmanship, and global collaboration, the One Humanity Beach Soccer Tournament aims to bring together the international beach soccer community through a shared vision that transcends borders and cultures.

Organisers say the competition will not only promote high-level beach soccer but also serve as a platform for cultural exchange and the celebration of humanity through sport.

Further details regarding fixtures, match dates, and participating teams are expected to be announced during the official launch.
