Nigerian footballer Peter Utaka has joined Danish First Division club Velke Boldklub on a four-month contract, according to reports from Completesportsnigeria.com. The announcement of Utaka’s arrival was made by Velke Boldklub on their official website on Thursday.
The statement on the club’s website reads, “VB has signed a contract with Peter Utaka until 30 June 2018. The 34-year-old Nigerian comes to VB after having last played in Japan and has been training with VB during the training camp in Turkey.”
Utaka, a former Super Eagles striker, expressed his excitement about joining the club and his desire to help them secure promotion to the Superliga. “I know Vejle have a very talented team and there is great quality in the squad.
