Former Sports Minister Sunday Dare hails Super Eagles after South Africa triumph

Former Minister of Sports, Sunday Dare has hailed the performance of the Super Eagles for beating South Africa to pick the final ticket.
The three-time champions advanced from the semi-finals after defeating South Africa 4-2 in a thrilling penalty shootout while tournament the hosts booked their place after edging DR Congo 1-0 on Wednesday night.
Nigeria thrashed Bafana Bafana of South Africa 4-2 on penalties at the Stade de la Paix in Bouake, Ivory Coast and Hon. Sunday Dare has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the team, heralding their resilience and passion that has culminated in this monumental achievement.
The former Minister highlighted the importance of long-term planning and institutional frameworks that transcend individual tenures, laying the groundwork for sustained excellence in Nigerian sports.
