Glenn Hoddle backs Victor Osimhen for Premier League move

Former Chelsea player, Glenn Hoddle, has voiced his belief that the English Premier League would be an ideal fit for Victor Osimhen’s style of play.

Amid transfer speculations surrounding the Nigerian striker, who announced his departure from Napoli at the end of the season, Hoddle expressed his opinion that Osimhen possesses the attributes suited for the Premier League.

Hoddle emphasized Osimhen’s hunger for success and goal-scoring prowess, highlighting these qualities as pivotal for thriving in the demanding Premier League environment.

“He’s a Premier League player, looking at him, the style of him as well, and the league, the style suits him, but he’s got his hunger back,” Hoddle remarked in an interview with TNT Sports.

“I think now he’s back to his best. He’s got the hunger, and the movement, he wants to score goals. That’s the big difference, the mindset.”

Osimhen, who played a significant role in Napoli’s Scudetto triumph after 33 years and clinched the golden boot award last season, continues to attract attention from clubs across Europe, with the Premier League emerging as a potential destination.
