Goodness Igbokwe scores in Noah FC loss to Pyunik Yerevan

Goodness Igbokwe scored his third goal of the season in his side Noah FC 3-1 loss to Pyunik Yerevan in the Armenian topflight league encounter.

Igbokwe was on target for Noah FC in the second half but the consolation goal was not enough to salvage a point for his side.

Desire put Pyunik Yerevan ahead in the 22nd minute before Malakyan doubles the away team effort from the penalty spot two minutes before halftime.

Taking the lead to the break, Pyunik Yerevan showed purposefulness in front of goal to take a two goal lead in the encounter.

Goodness Igbokwe rose to the occasion to pull a goal back from his side at the hour mark of the game.

Another Nigerian on the books of Pyunik Yerevan popped up to score the third goal for Pyunik Yerevan.

Noah are ninth on the Armenian league with 23 points in 32 matches.

Noah will visit Ararat Yerevan in their next encounter on May 20th.
