Governor Bello reappoints Segun Olobatoke as Kogi Sports Trust Fund boss

A former backroom staff of Nigeria’s senior men’s national team, Segun Olobatoke has been reappointed as chairman of Kogi State Sports Trust Fund.
Olobatoke’s reappointment was confirmed in a letter dated 18th September, 2023 and signed by the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Dr. Folashade Ayoade Arike.
Except from the letter read “I’m directed by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello to convey to you the approval of your re-absorption as Chairman, Kogi State Sports Trust Fund with effect from September 11, 2023.
“You are therefore expected to be more committed and dedicated in the discharge of your duties to enhance the rapid growth of the State and the Nation at large as well as the overall development of Sports in n Kogi State.”
Honourable Olobatoke was an aspirant of House of Representatives in the last general elections and has meritoriously served in many capacities with the Super Eagles and also in being involved in sports related matters Kogi State.
