Monday Odigie expects positive response from Insurance after Sporting Lagos’ defeat

Head Coach of Bendel Insurance, Monday Odigie assures his side will bounce back to reckoning after a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Sporting Lagos in the Nigeria Premier Football League, (NPFL) clash on Sunday.
The Benin Arsenal fell to a sublime free kick converted by Tochukwu Udeh in the 56th minute at Onikan Stadium.
Irked by the loss, Odigie blamed his strikers’ poor display in front of goal for the outcome, but reserves some optimistic about his team’s return to winning ways in upcoming fixture against Enyimba.
“The game has come and gone, we will continue to work on our mistakes and continue to correct them and get better,” Odigie told the club media.
“Sometimes you are well prepared but some mistakes can cost you the game.
“May be we could have got something from the game had we make good use of our own chances but that’s football and I’m confident of a better second round.”
The defeat saw Insurance dropped to eighth position on the NPFL standings and they will seek to bounce back against Enyimba in Aba on Sunday.
