The Nigeria National League (NNL) for the 2024/2025 season is set to kick off in November 2024.

At the end of the 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of NNL, which took place at the Executive Nest in Bauchi on Saturday, approved Saturday, 30th, November 2024, as the kick-off date for the 2024/2025 NNL League season with a Star Match only.

However, other Match Day One League matches are to be played one week later.

The AGM also resolved that in the 2024/2025 league season, a monthly award shall be given to the best goalkeeper, best Coach, most valuable player, best goal scorer, and best-behaved team.

The AGM agreed a four(4) conferences of 36 clubs format of nine (9) teams each for the 2024/2025 new season.

The AGM approved the election of the new executive Nigeria National League Club Owners and Managers Association (NALCOMA), with Godwin Enakhena as the new NALCOMA President.

The AGM approved the election of Chief Boniface Alozie Uche of Abia Comet FC as one of the representatives of the Club Owners on the Board of the Nigeria National League.

Last season, Beyond Limits Football Academy from Ikenne, Ogun State won the league title and gained promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

However, as a result of dual interest, the team forfeited their top-flight promotion and will attempt to defend their title.
