OFFICIAL: Onyekachi Okafor completes move to Lobi Stars from Rangers

Nigerian striker Onyekachi Okafor has completed a move from Enugu Rangers to Lobi Stars for the remainder of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, according to Nigeriafootball.ng.

Okafor, who was a fan favorite at Heartland FC last season, netting 12 goals and providing two assists, has struggled to replicate that form with the Flying Antelopes in the current campaign.

The 31-year-old forward made just seven league appearances for Rangers in the first half of the season before securing the switch to Lobi Stars.

In addition to his league appearances, Okafor featured in three CAF Champions League matches for Rangers.

The lanky striker is expected to make his debut for Lobi Stars in their Matchday 20 fixture against Heartland in Owerri on Sunday, where he will aim to make an immediate impact for Daniel Amokachi’s side.
