Waldorf Knoll Academy have emerged the champions of the maiden edition of the FCT Secondary School Football Tournament after dispatching HHH Foundation 3-2.
Eight schools participated in the football tournament aimed at exposing youngsters in the grassroots.
Waldorf Knoll defeated El-Amin 3-2 in the semifinal to advance to the final, while HHH got past Aduvie through the penalty shootout to book a place in the final.
The final produced dramatic moments filled with sophisticated artillery of football from the youngsters as they fought for the ultimate prize.
Waldorf Knoll showed supremacy to win the trophy of the first edition of the FCT Secondary School Football Tournament in commanding style by edging HHH school.
Head Coach of Waldorf Knoll Academy, Adewale Adeniyi scoop home the coach of the tournament, HHH goalkeeper and Yazid Yusuf was adjudged the best goalkeeper.
Hussein Yahaya was rewarded for his outstanding performance in the competition to win the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award, while Moses came top in the highest goal scorer chart to win the highest goal scorer award.
