2026 World Cup qualifier: Zimbabwe release names of 28 players list for Nigeria clash

Head Coach of Zimbabwe men’s national football team, Beltarman Brito has invited 28 players to prosecute the country’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Nigeria.
The Warriors who have returned to international football scene after more than a year ban by FIFA will be hoping to get back to reckoning in the qualifiers for the 2026 mundial.
In the list released by the Zimbabwe Football Association, ZIFA on Thursday, four goalkeepers, nine defenders, seven midfielders and eight attackers were invited including 16 players plying their trade abroad.
Zimbabwe will face Rwanda in Huye in the opening game of the qualifier on November 15th before facing the Super Eagles in the second game at the same venue four days after.
The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF are yet to release names of players that will prosecute the match.
