Nigerian teen sensation Haruna Saleh seal move to Greek outfit PAOK FC

In a historic achievement for Nigerian football, 19-year-old left-back Haruna Saleh has signed a groundbreaking contract with Greek top-flight club, PAOK FC.

This marks the first time a player from Unique Futbol Academy has secured a deal with a European premier league club, with Saleh inking a one-and-a-half-year deal.

Haruna’s journey began at Unique Futbol Academy, where his exceptional skills caught the eye of football agent Diego Martins during the academy’s Scouting Program in November 2023.

Since then, with expert guidance and support, Haruna developed into one of the top talents, earning a place among five standout players selected by international scouts.

“This deal will motivate stakeholders to provide financial backing, enabling more scouting programs to discover even more promising young players,” agent Martins told media.

As Haruna prepares to join PAOK FC’s first team for training, this momentous step is expected to open doors for many more Nigerian football prospects.
