Bayelsa United set to resume training on July 18 for new NPFL season

Bayelsa United have announced Thursday, July 18, 2024, as the official resumption date for players and officials to kick off preparations for the upcoming football season.
In a statement from the club’s communications department, all retained players and officials are expected to report to camp in Opolo. The early resumption is aimed at ensuring adequate preparation for the new season.
The Prosperity Boys will engage in a series of friendly matches leading up to the start of the season.
After narrowly escaping relegation from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) last season, Bayelsa United is determined to make a stronger impact in the new campaign, which is set to kick off on Saturday, August 31.
