Elkanemi Warriors seek alternative venue for CAF Confederation Cup matches

President Federation Cup champions Elkanemi Warriors are facing uncertainty over where to host their home games in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Their traditional home ground, Elkanemi Stadium in Maiduguri, has not met the necessary requirements for continental competitions, putting the club in a difficult situation.
In response, the Borno Army has identified four potential stadiums as temporary venues for the tournament and is awaiting approval from CAF. The shortlisted stadiums include:
- Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano
- Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja
- Karkanda Stadium
- Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos
Elkanemi Warriors will face Beninoise side Dadje FC in the preliminary round, with both legs scheduled to be played next month.
