Bundesliga: Nathan Tella laments Leverkusen’s ‘frustrating’ draw against Bayern Munich

Nigerian winger Nathan Tella has expressed his frustration following Bayer Leverkusen’s goalless draw against Bayern Munich in a crucial Bundesliga clash over the weekend.

Despite dominating much of the match, Leverkusen were unable to break Bayern’s defense, with both teams failing to find the back of the net.

The result proved to be a missed opportunity for Leverkusen, who could not close the gap on the league leaders, Bayern Munich.

Tella reflected on the match with a mix of frustration and pride, noting that the team had outperformed their opponents for large parts of the game.

“It’s frustrating not to get the three points,” Tella told the club’s official website.

“But as a team, we can be proud of how we played. I think we were the better team; if we had scored, it would have underlined our dominance.”

The Super Eagles forward acknowledged that some games just don’t go in your favor, but remains hopeful about his team’s prospects moving forward.

“Unfortunately, some games are like that, you don’t manage to score,” he added.
