By Wale Mustapha

Nigerian striker Cyriel Dessers continued his impressive goalscoring form with a brace in Glasgow Rangers’ 3–1 victory over Dundee on Wednesday in the Scottish Premiership.

Dessers opened the scoring in the 25th minute before converting a penalty in the 73rd minute to seal the win for the Light Blues. The goals marked his fourth consecutive game on the scoresheet, underlining his growing influence in Rangers’ attack.

The Super Eagles forward has now scored 50 goals for Rangers in all competitions, a significant milestone in his career at the club.

Dessers played the full 90 minutes, as did his compatriot Leon Balogun, who featured prominently in defence throughout the encounter.

The victory strengthens Rangers’ position in the Scottish Premiership title race as the season nears its conclusion.
