Desire Oparanozie: Former Nigeria international introduces her line of perfumes

After calling it time on her football career last year, former Nigeria forward, Desire Oparanozie is venturing into another line.

One would have expected the former Guingamp player to hover around football spheres after her retirement but she has other ideas.

This time, Oparanozie has decided to go into production and sales of perfume with the blend of her first name “My Desire Perfume” as the brand name.

The former Guingamp and Dijon captain revealed her perfume brand on Thursday on her X (former Twitter) page.

She announced the launch of two new fragrances of the perfume.

“It is with the birth of my ‘My Desire Perfume’ that this is made possible. Indeed progress compounds. Behold, our 2 new fragrances ‘My Desire 4 U’ & ‘My Desire #9’.  There is absolute confidence in the way you smell. Get any of our 3 products for that aura and maximum confidence.” She posted.

She retired from international football after taking part in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup where the Super Falcons reached the Round of 16, losing on penalties to European champions, England.

Notable for her football career in France with Guingamp and Dijon before moving to join Wuhan Jiangda in China where she retired.

She played over 30 games for the Super Falcons with more than 20 goals scored historically scoring the winner against Cameron in the final of the 2016 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
