Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has given fans a rare glimpse into his life off the pitch, emphasizing the importance of rest and relaxation in his daily routine.

Speaking as a special guest on Spa with Osas, the Super Eagles star opened up about his personal habits, revealing how he balances the demands of elite football with downtime to maintain peak performance.

In an honest conversation with Nollywood actress Osas Ighodaro, Osimhen discussed his approach to self-care and recovery, stressing sleep as a critical element of his regimen.

The 26-year-old striker explained how he ensures his body is well-rested to perform at the highest level.

“First and foremost, I don’t joke with my sleep when I have a day off. I sleep a lot,” Osimhen said, underscoring the value he places on rest for his recovery.

“I have my own ‘me-time,’ just me, when I am home. I relax, sleep, watch some Netflix series when I wake up, and I blast Olamide music. These are the things I do, and I really keen on them,” he added, sharing a more personal side of his routine.

When asked about his favorite Nigerian dish, Osimhen shared his love for Amala, a traditional yam flour dish popular in the Yoruba culture of southwestern Nigeria.

“I grew up in Yorubaland. Not everyone likes it, but we, the Yorubas, really love this dish, and I feel like everyone should try it,” he said.

Osimhen also mentioned his fondness for Eba, another popular Nigerian dish made from cassava flour, particularly when he’s at home.

Osimhen not only revealed the importance of relaxation but also relived how cultural elements like food and music play a significant role in his routine, helping him recharge for the demands of professional football.
