NFF announces vacancies for Flamingoes and Falconets coaching roles

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has published vacancies for coaches of Nigeria U-17 and U-20 women’s national team jobs on Friday.
Flamingoes coach, Bankole Olowookere guided the team to the bronze medal finish at the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in India, the best performance by the team at the tournament.
The team has been drawn to face either Central African Republic or Mauritius in the second Round of World Cup Qualifiers in February 2024. Mauritius or Chad awaits the team in the World Cup Qualifiers in November this year.

Falconets coach, Christopher Danjuma took the team to back-to-back quarter-final appearance at the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup as well as a runners-up finish at the maiden U20 WAFU-B Women’s Cup in Ghana.
Criteria spelled out for the two jobs include a minimum of CAF B License Certificate or its equivalent, experience coaching or working within women’s football, actively coaching within the last four (4) years, and an individual of exemplary character, who is driven and committed to the development of women footballers.
The closing date for application is on Thursday, 14th September 2023 by 6:00 pm Nigerian time.
Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for an interview as applicants can apply online on the NFF website.
Applicants can also submit their application to the NFF Secretariat addressed to the General Secretary as well as via email.
