NPFL: Remo Stars to miss key striker for two weeks over muscle injury

By Wale Mustapha

Remo Stars, currently leading the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), will be without their key striker Alex Oyowah for the next two weeks due to a muscle injury.

Oyowah sustained the injury during the recent match against Enugu Rangers, where he scored the opening goal in a 2-1 victory before being substituted in the second half.

An insider from Remo Stars confirmed that Oyowah will miss upcoming fixtures against Kwara United, Nasarawa United, and Plateau United.

Despite this setback, Remo Stars have enjoyed a strong start to the season, maintaining a perfect record with four wins from four matches, having scored eight goals and conceded only one.

The team will need to adapt quickly as they look to continue their successful run in his absence.
