Premium Trust Bank chief commits to bankrolling NFF grassroots football initiatives

The CEO of Premium Trust Bank (PTB), Mr Emmanuel Emefienim is committed to the growth of grassroots football following the sponsorship deal with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) which is worth over N1.2billion for a duration of four years.
The financial institution boss said they are being purposely in using sport as a tool in impacting the youth by providing a platform to showcase their talent in supporting the government efforts.
“We have been very deliberate in our support for sports, because we are deliberate when it comes to impacting lives,” Emefienim was quoted by NFF.
“Our belief is that the private sector has a role to play in providing the platform for the youth to showcase their positive talents and be useful to themselves and the nation, thereby supporting the efforts of the government.”
Emefienim stated, sport is an entity in unifying Nigerians across board and they will support the NFF in nurturing exceptional talented youngsters in the grassroots to stardom.
“We recognize football as a strong unifying factor in a highly diversified nation like ours.
“Supporting the NFF and football to identify talents from the grassroots and nurturing them to stardom, and thus contributing to national development, is a clarion call that we have heeded and are stoutly committed to.
“I believe our coming into this space will definitely take Nigeria Football to new heights of excellence.”
