Former Nigeria player and coach, Sunday Oliseh was once again full of praises for the Nigerian duo of Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey for their respective performance against Manchester United on Saturday.
The Super Eagles stars were the heroes as Fulham earned its only Old Trafford victory since 1963.
Bassey put Fulham in front but Harry Maguire appeared to have salvaged a point for the team in the very last minute of normal time.
However, Iwobi had another plan into stoppage time with a well-taken goal to give Fulham all three points.
“Extremely pleased for these 2 guys. Congrats ‘IwoBass’,” he posted on X.
This is not the first time the legend has praised the duo. Oliseh was quite impressed with their performances in their hard-fought 2-1 victory over Arsenal at Craven Cottage in their final game of 2023.
The win leaves Fulham in 12th position in the Premier League table with 32 points after 26 games.
