Reigning African Player of the Year, Victor Osimhen, has revealed that Olamide Adedeji, better known as Olamide Baddo,’s energetic hit song “Eni Duro” serves as a key source of inspiration for him.
“Eni Duro” has become a popular anthem among Nigerian youth, and now, it seems to have found a place in the routine of one of the country’s top sports figures.
Osimhen, who has previously shared that music plays a vital role in his pre-match preparation and relaxation, cited the track as a motivational tool.
The song’s upbeat rhythm and message resonate with the Super Eagles striker, who is currently in red-hot form, having scored eight goals and registered four assists in nine appearances since his loan move from Napoli to Galatasaray.
In a recent interaction on social media platform X, Osimhen responded to a post asking users to share their favorite Olamide song. His reply was simple: “Eni Duro.”
The title, which translates to “You Won’t Wait,” carries a fitting message, perhaps a reminder to his opponents that the 25-year-old forward is in a relentless pursuit of goals and won’t be held back.
Osimhen’s scoring streak continues to demonstrate that his focus, drive, and musical motivation are all in sync.
