“You deserve a cold beer” – Osimhen reacts to Galatasaray’s viral post after semi win

By Monsurah Olatunji

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has drawn attention on and off the pitch following Galatasaray’s emphatic 5–1 victory over Konyaspor in the Turkish Cup semifinal.

Osimhen, who scored and provided an assist in the dominant win, reacted humorously to a post from Galatasaray’s official X account.

The Turkish club shared a photo of his goal celebration with the cheeky caption, “The guy she tells you not to worry about.”

In response, the 26-year-old forward commented, “Yo, admin, you deserve a cold beer or a very hot chai,” drawing laughs from fans and adding to his growing popularity in Turkey.

Currently on loan from Napoli, Osimhen has been in scintillating form, scoring a league-high 21 goals and helping Galatasaray push for the Süper Lig title.

Despite his success in Istanbul, the Nigerian international continues to be the subject of intense transfer speculation. Napoli are reportedly holding firm on his €75 million release clause, as interest in the striker continues to grow ahead of the summer window.
