Nigerian forward Vivian Ikechukwu displayed her scoring prowess in the Turkish top-flight as her team, Besiktas, secured a commanding 3-0 victory against Atasehir on Sunday.

The match saw Tanzania’s Opa Clement open the scoring for Besiktas in the ninth minute, setting the tone for a dominant performance.

Shortly after the half-hour mark, Donjeta Halilaj extended Besiktas’ lead with a goal, further asserting their control over the match.

Ikechukwu added to the tally, netting the team’s third goal with just nine minutes left on the clock.

Her goal contributed to Besiktas’ impressive victory, marking her fifth goal of the season in the league.

Having previously played for Rivers Angels and FC Gintra, Ikechukwu’s transition to Besiktas has evidently been fruitful, showcasing her scoring prowess on the field.

Currently occupying the fifth position on the league table, Besiktas boasts 44 points from 24 games, trailing behind fourth-placed Beylerbeyispor by six points.

At the top of the table, Galatasaray leads with 59 points, followed by Fenerbahce with 54 points and Fomget with 51 points, making for an intense competition at the summit.
