Rumour Mills: Union St. Gilloise set to reward Promise David with lucrative contract extension

Belgian club Union St. Gilloise is set to offer striker Promise David a lucrative contract extension after his standout debut season in the Belgian Pro League.

David has been in superb form, netting 11 goals so far, including a brace in Sunday’s dominant 3-0 win over Standard Liege.

The 23-year-old’s performances have not only garnered praise from the club’s management but have also played a key role in helping Union St. Gilloise secure third place in the league as the regular season nears its conclusion.

A source close to the player revealed that the club is eager to reward David with a new deal that includes improved personal terms, including a significant salary increase and enhanced bonuses.

“The club will offer the boy a new contract because they have been impressed with what he has achieved in his first season in Belgium,” the source said.

“They will raise his salary and bonuses, while also extending his contract.”
