Kwara United Technical Adviser, Tunde Sanni, has expressed satisfaction with his team’s progress as they continue preparations for the upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The Harmony Boys resumed pre-season activities earlier this month and on Wednesday secured a 3–2 victory in a friendly match against House of Prayers FC.
Speaking to the club’s media team after the match, Sanni highlighted the players’ improved match fitness and tactical discipline.
“It was a good test for us; the boys are showing signs of readiness,” he said.
“We must stay focused and committed to the pre-season programme to achieve our objectives this season.”
Kwara United are heading into a pivotal campaign after winning last season’s President Federation Cup, defeating Abakaliki FC on penalties in the final.
The Kwaran club will represent Nigeria in the CAF Confederation Cup and will also be aiming for strong performances in the domestic league and cup competitions.
