Benue State Government assures Lobi Stars of Aper Aku Stadium readiness for NPFL

Lobi Stars have again been reassured of using Aper Aku Stadium in Makurdi for their home games in the new Nigeria Premier Football League, (NPFL) season, nigeriafootball.ng can report.
Benue State’s Honorable Commissioner for Sports and Creativity, Mr. Terkimbi Ikyange gave the assurance during an appreciation visit to the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe in Lafia on Monday.
Mr. Ikyange who was accompanied by the Vice Chairman of Lobi Stars, Mr. Dominic Iorfa disclosed that the Benue State Government was not pleased with having Lobi Stars prosecuting their home games away from home thereby intensify efforts to have the Aper Aku Stadium ready before the new NPFL season.
The Benue State Commissioner for Sports and Creativity appreciated the government of Nasarawa State for approving Lobi Stars’ request of using the Lafia Township Stadium for their home games describing the gesture as a testimony of the cordial relationship that exists between the government and people of the two states.
The Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, promised to support Lobi Stars with needed impetus while they are in Lafia just as he appreciated the Mr. Ikyange and his encourage for the visit.
