Brahim Diaz proud to represent Morocco, embraces new football journey
Real Madrid player Brahim Diaz expressed his delight and pride at the opportunity to represent the Moroccan national team.
“When the list of players called up by Morocco came out on Wednesday with my name on it, I felt proud and happy. Who wouldn’t love to play in a national team like Morocco’s?” he exclaimed during an interview with radio station Cadena Ser on Thursday evening.
The 24-year-old, who has been summoned by national coach Walid Regragui for the Atlas Lions’ upcoming friendlies against Angola and Mauritania at the end of March, emphasized the significance of the affection and vision demonstrated by the Moroccan football authorities.
“I think the love and the project they have shown me in Morocco are very important,” he remarked, underlining the depth of his emotional connection to representing Morocco. “I was guided by my heart,” he concluded.
