Gafar Liameed emerges Lagos State FA Chairman following Fouad Oki’s impeachment

The emergence of Gafar Liameed as the new chairman of the Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) have put the internal wranglings in the association at rest following the impeachment of Fouad Oki.
The impeachment and installation of the new chairman was ratified at the extraordinary General Assembly held in Lagos which had 12 delegates present out of 14.
The chairman of Badagry Divisional FA (BDFA), Osondu Martins moved the motion for the impeachment of Oki and was seconded by the Ikorodu Divisional FA (IDFA) chairman, Alhaji Sonibare Lukman.
Following the approved impeachment of Oki, the delegates unanimously moved the motion that the vice chairman, Gafar to be installed as the new chairman of the Lagos FA.
Osondu finally moved the motion that Oki should be banned from all football activities for life and was seconded by the chairman of Dannaz Ladies, Danny Nazzal.
The convention was monitored by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) first vice president, Felix Anyasi Agwu, Head of associations, Ali Sanni and Head of women’s committee, Aisha Falode.
The 12 delegates present are, Badagry DFA, Ikeja DFA, Ikorodu DFA, Epe DFA, Lagos DFA, FC Racine, FC Robo Queens, Dannaz Ladies FC, Unification FC, Lagos State Referees Council, Dosu Joseph FC and Youngstars FC.
