Nineteen-year-old Nigerian midfielder Kegbe Lucky opened his league account for the season as Åsane Fotball secured a 2-2 draw against Lillestrøm SK in a Matchday 11 clash of the Norway OBOS-Ligaen on Saturday.
Lucky put the visitors ahead in the 30th minute with a well-taken goal, marking his first strike of the campaign.
The lead was short-lived, however, as Lillestrøm responded with two quick goals before halftime to take control of the match.
Åsane leveled the score in the 78th minute through substitute Emil Sildnes, who replaced Lucky at the break.
The result sees Åsane claim a valuable point on the road against one of the division’s stronger sides.
Lucky’s composed performance in midfield during the first half drew praise, as the teenager helped Åsane maintain possession and dictate tempo during key phases of play.
The draw leaves Åsane mid-table as they look to build momentum heading into the second half of the season.
