The Nigeria international, vying for a spot in coach Gernot Rohr’s squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, opened the scoring for the former Premier League champions in the 14th minute, contributing to their convincing win over the Gunners.

In a post-match interview with Sky Sports, Iheanacho emphasized the importance of hard work, stating, “That’s what every player wants, to play. When you work hard, you get your chance, so I’ll keep working hard and see what’s next.”
