Maryan Ohadiwe scores as RFS put 12 goals past RK Olaine

Nigeria forward Maryan Ohadiwe continued her impressive goal-scoring feat for RFS, as they thrashed RK Olaine 12-0 in a Latvian Women’s Football League tie on Saturday.

Santa Sanija Vuskane scored the first goal of the game in the sixth minute before Anastasija Cemirtane doubled the lead a minute later.

Anastasija Poluhovica increased the lead to three in the 12th minute while Marina Telukevica scored the fourth goal.

Three more goals followed from Olesia Malinovska, Alina Ansone, and Vuskane in the first half.

Erika Gricijenko made it 8-0 in the 68th minute as Vlada Kozlova compounded the opponents’ woes with the ninth goal.

Ohadiwe, who scored a treble the last time out, made it 10-0 with her ninth goal in the league.

Goals from Anastasija Vainere and Telukevica completed the rout.

RFS occupy the second position on the log with 43 points, six points behind leader, Riga FC.
